Time Goes On
Yesterday is gone forever,
We know it as the past.
Moments we cannot recapture;
Time seems to go so fast.
God has granted us a new day!
Let us use it the best we can.
Be helpful, truthful and kind
For the benefit of man.
Time seems to pass so swiftly;
Live each moment while we may,
And give thanks to our Savior;
We've been granted another day.
And when the day is over,
We've tried our very best;
We hope our Savior is pleased,
When we lay down to rest.
